First grade students at St. Mary Catholic Community School were spreading kindness recently for World Kindness Day. The students discussed the ways that they show kindness everyday. Classmates did a collaborative group activity where they shared kind words about each other, and everyone went home with 25 compliments about themselves from their classmates. The project was led by Miss Katie Wadas who is in the process of finishing her undergraduate degree in elementary education.
