Over the past six weeks, Mrs. Sarabia’s sixth-grade students at St. Mary Catholic Community School have embarked on a captivating journey delving into the lives of some of the world's most distinguished humanitarians. Immersing themselves in the biographies or autobiographies of these remarkable individuals, the students undertook a transformative project. As part of this experience, each student crafted and delivered a compelling one-minute speech that brought their chosen humanitarian to life.
The culmination of their efforts took the form of a captivating event – the "Living Biography Museum" held in Hammes Hall for the entire St. Mary community. The event served as a platform for the students to share their newfound knowledge and admiration for these impactful figures.
