St. Mary's Student's Care for the Environment Leads to Act of Kindness

St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point’s Environmental Club has adopted a highway. The club has pledged to keep State Road 231 clean for the community. Seventh grader, Benji Ames, and his family signed up for cleanup duty recently. While Benji was cleaning, he found a twenty dollar bill. When Benji showed this bill to his mother he said he wanted to turn it in and donate it back to St. Mary school. What a generous, selfless act of kindness and fine example set for the other students in the building!
