St. Mary’s Graduates Named 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian at Andrean High School

Andrean High School recently announced its top 10 graduating seniors. The top two students are graduates of the same school: St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point. Valedictorian Abigayle Kubiak will head south for college in Tennessee, where she will pursue a career in music therapy. Salutatorian Daniel Shea lists Rose-Hulman, Purdue, and MIT as his top three options.
“I witnessed Abi and Danny grow up here at St. Mary’s School and I’m so proud of them. I can see both using their talents to help people and make the world a better place,” said St. Mary’s Principal Tom Ruiz.

St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point offers grade levels from Junior Pre-Kindergarten (for three-year-olds) through grade eight. Academic Excellence, Life Lessons, and Compassion are the pillars of the school. St. Mary’s will begin accepting applications for new students for the 2026-2027 school year on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 8:00 AM.
