St. Mary's Grandparents and Other Special Guests Treated to School Program

The students and staff at St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point recently put on their annual Grandparents and Special Persons Day Program. Grandparents and special family members and friends were treated to coffee and donuts, a trip to the classrooms, and concluded with a music program in the school’s gym. The St. Mary students shined bright with their smiling faces and energetic songs. Other highlights of the program included a performance by the school’s 4th-8th grade choir, as well as special essays and poems written by St. Mary 8th graders. Examples of sleepovers, movies, food, vacations, and the fact that the grandparents and special guests are spiritual role models truly touched the hearts of the grandparents and special people who were in attendance.
