On Monday, St. Mary Catholic Community School’s seventh grade students traveled to Triangle Hills for a memorable field trip filled with adventure, learning, and teamwork. The outing was designed to strengthen class bonds and give students opportunities to explore nature together.
One of the highlights of the day was the ropes course, where students worked together to climb, balance, and problem-solve. The challenge of the wall encouraged classmates to support one another, cheer each other on, and celebrate successes as a team. Seventh grader Caleb Weber reflected, “My favorite part was the focus on team building.” His words echoed the day’s theme of cooperation and encouragement.
Students also enjoyed hiking through the scenic trails of Triangle Hills. Keiridon Mays remarked, “The hike was beautiful! There was a lot of nature to see.” The walk gave students the chance to appreciate the outdoors while spending time with their peers in a relaxed setting.
The group also tried their hand at archery. For many students, it was a first-time experience. Teacher Theresa McLoughlin noted, “It was a great way for the students to spend time outside in nature and work together. It was fun to watch the students practice archery.”
From the physical challenges to the natural beauty, the Triangle Hills trip offered a day of growth, friendship, and fun that the seventh graders will long remember.
